Bang Commercial Editing Blog: Creating my Final Product

Going into the editing process, I was confident that I had everything I needed for the final product to come out the way I wanted. With thorough planning and plenty of takes, I was able to size everything down almost perfectly. My result was a commercial that flows seamlessly. I edited everything using iMovie on my phone, and it gave me little problems other than with the music (described later). The main problem I had was trying to size everything down and still get all six scenes and every action in them. I ended up cutting the running scene and the soccer scene because they were too long to fit. I adjusted the clips from my initial planning, cutting out the order confirmation, the picking up of the can, the sleeping on the desk, the running scene, the soccer scene, and reducing the basketball scene down to two clips. Despite this, I was still just over the 35 seconds, so I trimmed every clip a little bit more and got it down to 29.8 seconds. I added in a filter to make the day seem ...
