Planning for my Bang Commercial

Props:

The commercial is for Bang Energy Drinks, so that will be the main prop. Other props include: a soccer ball, basketball, watch, computer, paper, and pencil.

Costumes:

I will be wearing various costumes depending on the scene. I will wear pajamas in the opening scene to show that I am tired and unmotivated. When I decide to go for a run I will wear a simple running outfit. I will then wear a basketball jersey when I am playing basketball. After I go to play soccer I will wear a soccer outfit. I will be wearing running shoes, or cleats in the film. I might wear a headband so that my hair doesn't get in my face. I will wear a watch when running.

Schedule:

On 10/21, I brainstormed ideas for my commercial, and researched conventions.

On 10/22, I established a main idea for the structure of the commercial, consisting of the props, costumes, settings, props, and alternative ideas.

On 10/24, I will create a storyboard for my commercial, plotting out each of the scenes and cutting things out that won't fit in the 30 seconds, so that I can prepare for filming.

On 10/26, I will begin filming and try to get all necessary and wanted shots for the commercial. If I can't get every shot in one day, I may film the next day as well.

On 10/28 I will edit all of the shots and put all of the footage together, creating the final product. This may take a long amount of time to get right considering all of the elements. I will begin editing whenever I have time after filming is complete ideally.

Location List:

My ideal location will be Bayview Drive Park, because they have soccer goals and basketball hoops there, and there is a track that I can run on. I will film a long exposure shot off me running the track, and speed it up to make it look like I am running very fast. I will take footage of me shooting on the soccer goal, blasting in every shot. I will also take footage of me making every shot I take on the basketball court, and exaggerate the amount of energy I have by chasing every ball and doing the most at all times. I may use cuts of me in a different outfit as a comparison to a normal person.

My backup location would be inside my house, filming me doing work on my computer and on paper and pencil or reading books and stuff super fast. Or another idea would be that I could go to the gym, where I am protected from the rain and work out at extreme measures after taking the drink. This way, no matter what the circumstance is, I have no excuse not to get the footage I need to make a good commercial.

Backup Plan:

If the weather is not ideal to go to the park, my backup plan is to go to the gym that my friend and I use occasionally. I could also stay home and just act out that I'm doing homework and other stuff, but most people take energy drinks to be more active physically, so I'd prefer to do the project on that. I have a tripod that I can set up almost anywhere if I do not have somebody to film me.
